Each query result is stored in a separate, comma delimited, text file. Items that are queried are as follows: Audio BIOS Cache Communications Configuration Expansion slots Memory Monitor Operating system Ports Processor Serial number System GUID System Unit Storage Video 1.1 Required Operating System Windows2000 or newer. 1.2 Required Hardware Intel PentiumII(TM) class or better processor with a minimum of 32MB volatile memory, and a local drive with minimum of 10MB of storage space. 1.3 Availability This software is available via: - removable storage - fixed disk - networked file system 2.0 Change History -------------------- 3.0 Usage ---------- From the command prompt switch to the directory containing the sysinfo.exe file, then: sysinfo or sysinfo [-out:] [-v] [-u or /?] [-r] -out: Output location. Takes drive name and/or directory name in which to store the output produced by the software. Syntax Example: sysinfo -out:C:\Outputdir -r *Remove Inventory Snapshot. If this option is selected, Inventory Snapshot components shall be deleted upon next power cycle or Windows restart. Syntax Example: sysinfo -r -u Show Usage. or Opens a command prompt window and displays this usage /? message. Syntax Example: sysinfo -u -v Verbose. Opens a command prompt window and displays the messages being output by the software.
