Notice:
-------
- If you use the Product Recovery disk-to-disk feature or CD the shipped
  with your ThinkPad to restore the Windows 2000 preload environment, you
  do not need this package. This package is required when you install
  Windows 2000 without the Product Recovery CD.
- This program is language independent and can be used with any
  language system.


What This Package Does
----------------------

This package contains:
        - IBM LCD Color Profile

The following ThinkPad computers are supported:

   - ThinkPad R32

To determine if you should update the supplement files, refer to the
"Summary of Changes" section.

To update the supplement files, refer to the "Installation
Instructions" section.

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
NOTE: If the correct video driver has not been installed on the system,
      install the video driver prior to the IBM LCD Color Profile.

 1. Start Windows 2000.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click the right mouse button on the desktop to open Display Property.
 4. Select the Settings tab and then click Advanced.
 5. Select the Monitor tab and then click Properties.
 6. Select the Driver tab and then click Update Driver. The Upgrade
    Device Driver Wizard starts.
 7. Click Next.
 8. Select Display a list of the known drivers for this device so
    that I can choose a specific driver and then click Next.
 9. Click Have Disk.
10. Click Browse, and search the location where the file IBMTPLCD.INF
    exits.
11. Select IBMTPLCD.INF and then click Open.
12. Click OK.
13. Select the panel that you use now and click Next.
14. Click Next at start device driver installation wizard.
15. Click Finish.
16. Select the Color Management tab and then click the Add button and
    select IBMTPLCD.ICM in "%Root%\WINNT\system32\spool\drivers\color"
    directory
17. Click the Add button and close Display properties.


HOW TO UNATTENDED INSTALL:

[IBMLCD: IBM LCD Color Profile Support]
 1.Create or Add OemPnPDriversPath="folder for ICC Color Profile" under [Unattended] section in an Unattend.txt.
   For example, OemPnPDriversPath="DRIVERS\OTHER"

 2.Create the folder with the name of "folder for ICC Color Profile".
   For example, c:\DRIVERS\OTHER

 3.Put all the files within the folder created above.
   Files are:
	IBMTPIPS.icm
	ibmtplcd.cat
	IBMTPLCD.ICM
	IBMTPLCD.INF
