Symptoms:
	PHCO_24695:
	When a large chunk of data is pasted in a script session,
	script is giving an error "pty write error". Also, there is
	data loss in its log file.

Defect Description:
	PHCO_24695:
	When a large chunk of data is pasted on a script session,
	script is giving an error "pty write error".
	This was because, script(1) was trying to write data to
	file descriptors, which are not ready for write. Also there
	is some data loss, because there is no input flow control.

	Steps to reproduce the problem are as follows:
	1. On a fresh terminal, start script.
	2. cat > cat.out 2>cat.err
	3. Paste a buffer of atleast 110x50 characters
	   repeatedly.
	4. script gives out an error
	   "script: pty write failed: Invalid argument"
	5. Exit from script by ^D^D and check whether the data
	   present in cat.out is same as the one pasted.

	Resolution:
	Now, script(1) is made to use select(2) to check whether
	the file descriptors are ready for write or not, and then
	write the data. Also, an environmental variable
	SCRIPT_USE_IXOFF has been added, by setting this
	environmental variable before running the script,
	the input flow control can be enabled.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHCO_24695

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHCO_24695.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHCO_24695.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHCO_24695.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHCO_24695.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k
