Symptoms:
        PHKL_5334:
        Mouse shows erratic behaviour in X/VUE.
        The mouse fails in the following way: the pointer  jumps
        to the top or the right of the screen and becomes stuck
        there. When it becomes stuck to the top of the screen,moving
        the mouse up and down will cause the pointer to move left
        and right, and moving the mouse left and right will cause
        random button clicks. Pushing the buttons does nothing.
        When the pointer gets stuck to the right of the
        screen, moving the mouse left and right will cause the
        pointer to move up and down, moving the mouse up and down
        causes button clicks, and pushing the buttons does nothing.

Defect Description:
        PHKL_5334:
        A hardware error in the Nighthawk board in a Kittyhawk
        system was causing parity errors in the ps2 mouse port.
        The driver had a software defect and was not dealing
        correctly with the parity error.

        The hardware has been fixed. This patch is to fix the bug
        in the ps2 driver.

        To reproduce the defect, simply move the ps2 mouse in X/VUE
        while doing some disk activity on the built in fast/wide
        scsi card on a Kittyhawk system. This will cause the mouse
        to behave erratically if the Nighthawk board has the
        hardware error. However, most customers should not be
        affected because the hardware defect which caused the
        parity error has been fixed.

        1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

        2. Login as root.

        3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

        4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

                cd /tmp
                sh PHKL_5334

        5. Run swinstall to install the patch:

                swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true
                        -s /tmp/PHKL_5334.depot

        By default swinstall will archive the original software in
        /var/adm/sw/patch/PHKL_5334.  If you do not wish to retain a
        copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
        named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

        Warning: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
                 patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
                 when using this feature.

        It is recommended that you move the PHKL_5334.text file to
        /var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

        To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
        tape drive, use the command:

                swpackage -s /tmp/PHKL_5334.depot -x
                        target_type=tape -d /dev/rmt/0m PHKL_5334
