	size greater than 2GB.

	Creating a large number of files (such as > 4k) in a
	directory on a vxfs file system can take an unacceptably
	long time to complete, especially when compared to
	HP-UX 11.00.

Defect Description:
	PHKL_23084:
	(SR: 8606170112   CR: JAGad39375)
	The function supposed to return the details of the
	extents of the file was returning HOLEs past the 2GB
	mark which caused the process to loop forever.

	Resolution:
	Return correct details of the extents past the 2GB
	mark from the function mapping the extents of a file.

	PHKL_19058:
	( SR: 1653303750 CR: JAGab16358 )
	On 10.20, VxFS 3.0 uses extents of size 1K blocks once
	the directory started to use indirect extents; i.e. once
	the directory became larger.  For 11.00 and VxFS 3.1,
	extents of size 8K are used.  Thus, on 10.20, there were
	8 times the number of extents to manage as with 11.00.
	Resolution:
	A change has been made to allow 10.20 to also use the
	larger extent size, and thus improve performance.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHKL_23084

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHKL_23084.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHKL_23084.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHKL_23084.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHKL_23084.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k
