Updating the Matrox GXM firmware on Mac

  1. Download and install Matrox PowerDesk for Mac (version 1.04.01.006 or newer) from the Matrox Technical Support Web site (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/drivers/).
  2. Download the firmware update for your Matrox product from the Matrox Web site.
  3. Double-click the ZIP file to extract the FW file to the same folder:

  4. From the Matrox PowerDesk menu, select Information and Troubleshooting:

  5. Click Update Firmware:

  6. Browse to the folder containing the update file, then click Open:

  7. Carefully read the information in the confirmation dialog, then click Update Firmware to continue with the update:

  8. Wait for PowerDesk to finish updating your Matrox GXM product firmware:
