INTRODUCTION
Compaq Computer Corporation is pleased to announce the Compaq V75 Monitor,
an enhancement to the Compaq V70 Monitor product line. This monitor is a
reliable, enhanced, high-resolution, 17-inch (16-inch viewable image size)
color monitor with eleven factory-preset display modes. It has a
space-saving chassis design with tilt/swivel adjustment. It is an
affordable monitor for every Compaq desktop, server, and portable computer
and expansion chassis. Additionally, it is supported by a Compaq
Three-Year Limited Warranty.
KEY FEATURES
The key features of the Compaq V75 Monitor are:
o A 17-inch display with a 16-inch diagonal viewable image area
o A dot pitch of 0.26 mm
o Support for VGA resolutions up to 1024 x 768 at a flicker-free 85-Hz

o User friendly digital controls with on-screen display (OSD)
o On-screen controls for advanced adjustments including Horizontal Size
and Position, Vertical Size and Position, Pincushion, Tilt (rotation),
Trapezoid, Parallelogram, Moir'e Cancellation, Manual Degauss, Factory
Reset, and Language Selection. (Dutch, English, French, German, Italian,
and Spanish)
o AssetControl capability, when used with a Compaq desktop that has
Intelligent Manageability, to track monitor make, serial number,
resolution, and controller information
o Plug and Play readiness saves time in setup and configuration with
Microsoft Windows 95
o Up-front analog controls for easy regulation of contrast and brightness.
o TCO95 Low Emissions Compliance for reduced radiation, electrostatic,
and electromagnetic emissions
o EPA Energy Star compliant
o Macintosh compatible (adapter required)

WARRANTY
The V75 Monitor is supported by the Compaq Three-Year Limited Warranty on
all parts. The Warranty covers parts and labor for the first year,
including on-site repair. For the second and third years, coverage is for
parts only. On-site service is provided on a best-effort basis, with a
48-hour average turnaround time. Warranty upgrades and extensions are
available.
In the United States, the V75 Monitor is also eligible for the 48-Hour
Monitor Swap Program which specifies that a replacement monitor will
arrive at the customer's site within 48 hours of the problem being
registered with Compaq Technical Support. This level of coverage is
provided at no additional cost to the end-user, and is considered part of
the product's standard Warranty and any Warranty Extensions/Upgrades
purchased for the unit.
