INTRODUCTION
Compaq Computer Corporation is pleased to announce enhancements to the
following Compaq monitors:
o 1024 Color Monitor
o 151FS Color Monitor
o 171FS Color Monitor
o QVision 172
o QVision 200
These monitors retain their initial features such as high resolution and
high refresh rates as well as Energy Star power conservation and MPR-II
emission compliance. (Refer to Service Advisories 554, 638, 680, and 698
for more detailed information on these monitors.) In addition, Compaq has
included the following popular enhancements:
o Plug and Play capability--Makes setup and configuration easier.
o Asset management capability--Allows for remote monitor tracking.
o Three-year limited warranty--Expanded warranty duration now includes two
additional years of parts-only coverage. The first year of the warranty
includes on-site labor coverage. The three-year limited warranty helps
to lower the total cost of ownership. (The 1024 Color Monitor is
covered under a one-year parts and on-site labor limited warranty only.)
Table 1 lists specifications of the various monitors. The newest features
are highlighted.
