DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks files needed to install the Compaq S3 Video Driver
for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 for Armada 7300 and 7700 Series notebooks. 
Optionally creates an installation diskette.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Provides support to disable the DDC (Display Data Channel) feature within 
   NT 4.0 for DDC compliant monitors which do not return good DDC EDID information.
   NOTE: Disabling DDC also requires SoftPaq SP9229, Armada 7300/7700 Windows 
         NT 4.0 Registry Update to Disable DDC, Version 1.00 Rev A

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Enter "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files into the download directory. 

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting 
file downloaded in step 1.

4. To create the optional installation diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT.

5. For installation instructions, refer to the README.TXT file.
 
6. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked 
in step 2.
