DESCRIPTION: Unpacks files needed to create a diskette for Personal Computer
Diagnostics Version 10.25 Rev C.

Personal Computer Diagnostics contains programs that can test and
inspect the state of the computer and its devices. It is used with the
Deskpro models mentioned above, as well as other Compaq desktops and
portables.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Restores support of system partition for models listed above.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory
folder in the download directory. All files are unpacked into this
newly created directory.

To create the one optional installation diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and
follow on-screen instructions.

3. To install or upgrade Personal Computer Diagnostics on the Diagnostics
Partition, boot from the Diagnostics diskette. From the "Manage Diagnostics
Partition" menu, select "Create" or "Update" partition and follow the prompts.

4. After the diskette is created, you may delete the files downloaded
in step 2 if you wish.
