DESCRIPTION:  This is the Windows 2000 video driver for Rage LT 
Pro and Mobility P graphics chips in the Armada Series and models 
listed above.  It enables the features and functions of these 
graphics chips.   

Enhancements/Fixes:  
- OpenGL support
- Resolves known issues including:
	- blue screen after installing video driver on system with
	  the latest Compaq HotKey and Power Management Utilities
	- mouse pointer disappear intermittently in 256-color mode
	- lauching MPEG file could cause blue screen
	- resolution is not correct after the 1st boot or 2nd
	  reboot
	- system locks up when switching from SXGA+ Panel to CRT to TV
	  while playing video clip
	- incorrect panel resolution when using SXGA+ Panel with the 
	  panel on Secondary and CRT on Primary CRTC
	- DPMS is not properly set
	- uninstall message is not translated correctly for Japanese driver
	- panel backlight stays on during suspend while system is docked
	- intermittent video corruption after resume from suspend

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory 
folder in the download directory.  All files are unpacked into this 
newly created directory.

3. After the directory has been created, you may delete the 
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4. To install, run SETUP.EXE.  For example, enter:

   <path>\SETUP
   where <path> is the drive and directory created in step 2

   Follow the on-screen instructions.

5. After the installation is completed, you may delete the directory 
created in step 2 if you wish.
