DESCRIPTION:  Unpacks the MONOPT.INF and ICM color profiles for configuring 
Compaq Commercial Flat Panel Monitors in Japan in the operating systems mentioned 
above.  

   MONOPT.INF -  An information file that configures the appropriate driver 
                 for a Compaq Commercial Monitor.

        *.ICM -  ICM stands for Image Color Matching.
                 These are data files that are used in conjunction with
                 some graphics programs to provide consistent color matching
                 from monitor screen to printer, or from scanner to the
                 monitor screen.

The Compaq LCD Display Assistant and LCD LiteSaver utilities are also provided.  

Optionally allows the creation of an installation diskette.

Enhancements/Fixes:
 - Text files have been translated into Japanese.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename 
based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files unpacks the files into 
the download directory, such as C:\Compaq\TFTdisk.

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the  
self-extracting file downloaded in step 1.

4.  Optionally, run the file MAKEDISK.BAT to create a 1.44-MB installation
diskette.

5. For installation instructions, refer to the README.TXT files in the 
..\TFTdisk directory and the ..\CPQLCD and ..\CPQSAVER sub-directories.

6. After the installation is completed, you may delete the files 
unpacked in step 2 if you wish.
