HOW TO USE:

1.  Download this .ZIP file on your server.

2.  Unzip the contents to a directory on your hard drive.

3.  Enter the command below:  

	[root@localhost]# rpm -ivh --force ipmidrv.rpm 
	  ipmidrv      ########################################### 

    Note: For SLES 8, you will get some additional rpm output similar to the following:

          ipmidrv      0:off  1:off  2:off  3:off  4:off  5:off  6:off

4.  After installation, you can query the file list by the command below,
 
	[root@localhost]# rpm -ql ipmidrv 
	  /etc/init.d/ipmidrv
	  /lib/modules/2.4.19-64GB-SMP/kernel/drivers/misc/ipmi.o
 
5.  After you have installed ipmi driver, there are several startup script files added,
    they are /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S21Ipmidrv, /etc/rc.d/rc4.d/S21Ipmidrv and /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S21Ipmidrv.
    They are all linked to /etc/init.d/ipmidrv. You can view it using the command shown below:  

	[root@localhost /]# ls -l /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S21Ipmidrv 
	  lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Oct 2 13:45 /etc/rc3.d/S21Ipmidrv -> /etc/init.d/ipmidrv
