This readme is only for Fastports
with firmware less than 4.7.0

	If the firmware version in
your fastport is less than 4.a.1 or
less than 4.5 or you do not have the
F-flash option at the AVAILABLE COMMANDS
prompt, then you do not have serially
upgradeable PROM chips.
	Purchase prices and necessary
hardware for these PROM chips are 
as follows:

firmware and Fastport you want upgraded.
Include your shipping address (no P.O.Box)
phone and fax number, and your Visa,
Mastercard, or AMEX number to charge
for the CHIP upgrade.

	If you have a PROM UVEraser
and a PROM chip burner, then you can
upgrade the ceramic PROM chips on your
own:  first download the *.bin files
that correspond to the memory and chips
you have.  Then burn the
*l.bin file to the low chip, and the
*h.bin file to the high chip. If you
want an unsplit version please contact
support@milan.com and use a split value
of 2, with 0 as the low chip and 1 as
the high chip.
