Here is qbsp, vis and light for Solaris 2.4, SCO3.2v5.0.0 and Linux-ELF. The Linux version doesn't have thread support. Haven't played with Linux pthreads yet. The linux gcc options were: -O6 -funroll-loops -ffast-math The Solaris version fully support Solaris bound threads. They use fast math and SuperSparc instructions. They will NOT run on MicroSparc (Sparc5) machines. Only SuperSparc ones (Sparc10, Sparc20 and beyond). Got a multiprocesssor Solaris box? Go for it! Default thread count is four. The Solaris compile options were: -O6 -funroll-loops -ffast-math -msupersparc The SCO version also doesn't have thread support (does SCO have thread libraries?). The compile options were: -O qbsp: This is version 29/31 from Carmack. I have fixed the bug where a .pts file was *not* generated on a leak. Works great. light: Solaris thread support added. No progress indicator, but light doesn't take hours to run like vis. :) vis: This has been modified to include a precentage done indicator. Just use -show on the command line. I use: vis -threads 2 -show mylevel.bsp I did this 'cause I needed 'em. Unsupported. Most email about 'em will get deleted. Sorry. I'm busy enough with the ThreeWave CTF stuff as it is!
