MIDI MIDI Device- FluidSynth ======================================================================== *EPIC GAMER LORE* The year is 205X and the world is at peace after the victory of N.A.T.O. in World War 3. Countries apart of N.A.T.O. are thriving economically, and many scientific advancements are being made in the nations. One of these advancements is the long awaited invention of teleportation. Deep dives into quantum mechanics have allowed scientists to create machines capable of producing a "whirling vortex" of atoms that can consume matter and displace it to another vortex. These machines became known as "portal makers" to the public, as their real name was considered classified information. Yet, this new tech was limited to displacing matter from one "portal" to another on Earth. It was incapable of spontaneously generating new "portals" in other parts of the universe. So, a group of 124 scientists came together to form a group known as the United Aerospace Corporation, or "UAC" for short. They formed this corporation with the goal to make teleportation technology better by any means possible. Within 3 years of the corporation's founding, the new vortex was completed. This new machine ran on 250 super computers and was the length of an entire football field. News outlets everywhere considered it the "portal to rule all portals". It was capable of generating portals anywhere in the known universe. Finally, explorations of far off planets and galaxies could begin. The invention revolutionized how the scientific community viewed quantum mechanics, bringing many scientists from around the world came to admire this marvelous invention. It brought great fame and fortune to the 124 scientists associated with the UAC. Over time, members of the UAC began to theorize an even better machine that would be able to generate portals outside of the known universe, into other "realms". Most scientists were humanitarians, and to prove that there is no such thing as other "realms" such as heaven or hell. However, some scientists were protested against this idea claiming that tapping into other supernatural "realms" would be a terrible idea, and that staying within the confines of the physical universe would be the safest for mankind. But, temptations of possibly disproving the supernatural prevailed among the majority of the scientists, and those who disagreed were expelled from the UAC. The remaining scientists inspired to disprove the supernatural, but in reality driven by the need for more fame and money, began work on the new vortex. This new vortex was greater in size than last, yet also required more energy. The first test conducted could only run the "portal" was 3 seconds, using up enough nuclear energy to power the entire world in that time. The location in which they put there sights on was none other than hell itself. To the scientists surprise, the portal worked. But they quickly realized that this was no matter to celebrate. Hundreds of spirits and creatures of many kinds poured in through the portal in the short time it was opened. They quickly over powered those who were there, and began a mass invasion of Earth. They declared that "The Great Monstrosity" had sent them, and they would only decimate mankind if it refused to worship it the way they wanted. Unfortunately, many gave into the demands of the demons, fearing that they would be killed if they didn't. Those who tried to revolt were quickly slain. In spite of this, there came a man of unknown origins, and an unknown name. He was determined to do what he believed was God's work, and restore mankind. He gathered his belongings, then journeyed to the small lab were it all began. His only goal in mind was to "rip and tear, until it was done."
