=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : Limit removing Boom Primary purpose : Single + coop play =========================================================================== Title : SolarField Filename : SolarField.wad Release date : 8/7/2025 Author : Tetral Email Address : [redacted] Other Files By Author : ringworld.wad Misc. Author Info : Nothing interesting Version : 1.0 Description : A massive, sprawling map slaughter map with and technology theme and only Doom II textures. There's 14444 enemies on UV. Not much more to say. Well I have at least a little more to say. I watched some Timothy Brown maps and played a few of them. I thought they were fun, but too tedious for me, So I made this. It's still too tedious and difficult for me, but whatever. I just wanted to make a really big map. Not all of the areas are particularly good looking, but some are pretty nice. Play time without saves is about 4-5 hours, but I don't think anyone will actually try, I didn't after all. Anyway, I hope you enjoy playing! Additional Credits to : Timothy Brown for inspiration for making a really big map. Music is from plutmidi.wad and https://bitmidi.com/bells-mid, sky is modified from Skypack1.wad =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 1 Sounds : No Music : Yes Graphics : Yes Dehacked/BEX Patch : Yes Demos : No Other : No Other files required : Doom2.wad * Play Information * Game : Doom 2 Map # : 1 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Designed for Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Player starts only Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Yes, I haven't tested them * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : About a week, and a long time to balance Editor(s) used : Slade, Ultimate doom builder, Paint.net Known Bugs : None yet May Not Run With : Non limit removing ports Tested With : prboom-plus, gzdoom * Copyright / Permissions * This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
