The idea is simple. The first level contains exactly 100 lines, second - 200, and so on ... up to 3200 lines on MAP32. First maps aren't that good (I could've made them better but I decided to leave them as is) but further maps go progressively more and more interesting. Palette changes / sprite changes (MAY NOT fit everyone's taste!): - blue shades are turned into purple - green shades are a bit shifted to cyan so marble textures look colder - red shades are a bit darker - also some colormap changes (I hope I did it right) - all yellow key/skull related sprites/textures made closer to yellow, not orange - green torches were replaced with yellow ones so now torches match key colors :) Difficulty: some maps are harder than others, sometimes challenging ammo-wise.
