The main challenge here was to make interesting maps with somewhat peculiar limitation in mind - minimum 99% imps on a level on UV difficulty. The main weapon is the rocket launcher; other weapons are available, of course. We have 26 playable maps: - 22 regular maps, - 3 secret maps, - 1 credit map. All are playable and accessible through normal play. Good variety of styles, difficulty, architecture. Mostly slaughtery, maps are placed generally from easy to hard, with some exceptions. They're not the weakest by health but the absence of hitscan attack makes them the easiest to deal with. I believe the combination of pain and death sounds with explosions makes it the most satisfying to disintegrate. Looks like I'm not alone in this, so I hosted a community project around my favorite thing in Doom - imp rocketing :) Notable changes: - ammo: - - more rockets: 100 / 200 with backpack - - fewer bullets: 100 / 200 with backpack - keys: - - orange skull instead of yellow skull - smaller hitbox for candle - for mapping convenience - palette: - - lighter blue range (unchanged from 32in24-15_tex_v2) - - orange range more saturated in the beginning and darker to the end - - COLORMAP edited to support this palette - lots of remapped textures/flats/sprites because of the palette
