System used             : Gateway 2000 P5-100, 16MB RAM
                           Gateway 2000 AnyKey keyboard.

Controls used           : keyboard only, default configuration

Free interpretation     : MAP01 on UV; kill 'em all with normal fist.

Comments                : None of the original levels in Doom][ are
                          very difficult on UV.  Thus, I substituted
                          the easy level with all three levels from
                          the hardest set.  My goal was to complete
                          each level as quickly as possible.  I did
                          not waste time collecting max health/armor/
                          ammo or to avoid taking damage (what fun
                          is that?!)  Whenever possible, I punch out
                          the enemies.

MAP09:  This is a fun level.  Punching is frequent in this lmp.
        I also did some stupid things such as burning off much health
        after running in the nukage pit with a couple pain elementals.
        In addition, I recover from near death twice.

MAP08:  No holds barred!  Watch it.

Substitution Lmps:
MAP13:  I don't like this level.  It is hard to get 100% kills because
        it is easy to overlook one of imps' hiding holes.

MAP20:  At one point, I ran out of ammo.  Some aggressive punching
        and a couple monster telefrags are in this lmp.  Near the
        end, watch me punch an imp and send its exploded corpse
        flying back and up some stairs before it falls back down.

MAP24:  Plenty of punching.

Free interpretation:
MAP01:  I punch all the troopers and imps to death with the normal
        fist.  This is not as easy as it sounds.  The imps tend to
        get a scratch in before one of them falls to your fist.
        I make it to the end as a bloody mess.

Author info             : I am 25 years old now.  I started playing
                          DOOM when I tried shareware DOOM in July
                          1995.  Then I got DOOM II in September 1995.
                          I have played DOOM more than any other game.
