You get to watch me walk into the Baron/Demon room with an empty BFG in hand. real smart. Map03 just wasn't inspiring so I did two 'Hardest' levels. I have just never liked level 24 so I did 27 for the 3rd substitute. Map 07 Free Interp. Listed in D2GM base as hard. I used to like Map 07. First time I ever played it with -fast I beat it with no problem, so I thought it would be an easy free interp. Then the more I played it, the more I seemed to die on -fast. Finally I realized that the fireballs were frequently coming right through the walls. So in this lmp after I kill all but one Mancubus, I take some time to show without question the fireballs flying through the walls. Map 13 The lmp reminds me of Desert Storm with all the green tracers shooting into the sky. Map 20 While working on this level, three times I got stuck in a dead end in the room with the plasma gun. I get behind the large door so that I can open it again after it closes, and a Cacodemon would inevitably get stuck at the top in a position where I could not see or kill it and preventing the door from raising all the way up. In this case, the switch does not work to lower the door and I am thus trapped. I should eventually have the lmp of this available on my web page listed below. Map 27 Not much to say. Is a nice level, not all that hard if you take it one area at a time. Only real mistake was accidentally teleporting near the end, which threw me off with the Revenants. Author info : It was back when playing the shareware Doom and I caught myself leaning forward to look around the window to snipe on E1M7 that I realized how unique this game was and I was hooked. I played it way too many hours and then put it on the shelf. Last year I was enlightened to the way of mousing and started playing deathmatch. And finally when I got my Pentium and bought Doom 2, I really got into the game. Hopefully, achieving this title will complete something and I will be able to walk away from it for a while. While I waited for my challenge, I filled my time by recording lmps played by D2M rules.
