Short readme version 2.1 adds teleporter star effect, better woman scream if she is hit
Runs in both shareware and full version Duke3d(organtic in full only)

Prior to fem.con, every fem(babe, chick, or whatever)  and doomed space marine you ran across were either pathetic bulletstoppers, brainless dancing flashers, suffering "killme" wimperers or all of the above! With fem.con, all this changes!!!

Now when you walk up to a fem, (or a wounded  marine) hit the spacebar a couple of things will happen:

1. A message will flash telling you "Captive rescued and teleported away," or "Wounded marine rescued, he'll be OK!" 
2. The fem or marine will disappear from the scene.
3. A medkit, ammo, boots, jetpack, steroids or some other device or weapon may be left behind.
4. An alien may appear where the fem or marine just was, are you quick on the draw?
5. A  morter round may be left bouncing around. Lookout! Its still LIVE!

Additionally, the "organtic" has been activated and is a dangerous alien plant that can be captured for reward!

Unzip FEMCON21.ZIP to your DUKE3D directory. To use femgame.con, simply rename it to game.con and place it in your Duke3d directory(hide away your  old game.con, file or rename it to something else). 

Then type "DUKE3D MAP FEM" (no quotes) to start the level .

Only want to check out the new con WITHOUT renaming and hiding away your original con files? Here's how(btw, start a new level or map, saved games done under a different con may use that con's parameters)!!!

The  /x parameter tells duke to use an alternate game.con file.  Just use the con files: femgame.con, femdefs.con and femuser.con(place them in your Duke3d directory as before WITHOUT renaming them).  
Then type "duke3d /xfemgame.con map fem" .  Replace "fem" with any map name(if you want to play Duke3d normally without a specific map but use femcon, just type "duke3d /xfemgame". LEAVE OUT the quotation marks, of course).

Though the game does not require it, use EDITART to copy the Marine 
into your TILES005 file(see FEMCON.TXT for complete instructions on 
how to do this). 

Go for it Duke, save the chicks, and bring our boys back home!!!

One other thing, STEROIDS have an extra ability, if on steroids, and if Duke's health falls below 50, the game will attempt to keep it at 50 until the steroids run out! Still, Duke's gotta watch out for close, multiple shotgun blasts and RPG explosions!!!

Includes map file full of FEMS, marines and organtics to try fem.con out on!!! New Less DOOMed looking spacemarine graphic included to add to your tiles005.art file if desired. Complete instructions on using included.
